Last month I had a very exciting trip down to London to visit the BLoved Hive for a workshop run by the UKAWP. Having seen so many pictures about the Hive online and heard about how Louise set the space up last year with a crowdfunding campaign I was so excited to see it in the flesh. I already offer styling as part of my Full Planning wedding service but I really wanted to invest some time learning how I could become better at this and also learn from other experienced wedding planners who were renowned for their styling skills.
Here are some professional images from the lovely Cecelina who documented our workshop with her fine art style of photography (I think I am now a bit addicted to the style! the lighting and composition are just sublime!).
These are some images of some of the tasks we were set which included building mood boards, designing vases, creating a tablescape from a client brief. It was a lovely day and I learnt so much, this is a flavour of what I got up to with the rest of the lovely ladies I met that day......
A big thanks to The Bijou Bride and Always Andri for running the course and Liz from Blue Sky Flowers for the floral input for the day.
We had some lovely goodie bag gifts from: Selffee Cookies, Ananya Cards, Blue Sky Flowers, Beyond Vintage and Berinmade.
